Samsung unveils its Robot Vacuum, Wireless speakers and more, ahead of CES 2017

Nearly a week left, before CES arrives and tech companies have already started announcing their products before the event. Samsung too, has gone out and announced some of its products before the event, which include a new wireless speaker, a new robot vacuum, UHD Blu-ray player and a new soundbar.

With new audio-video products tipped for next year, Samsung goes on to claim that it has come up with the “future of audio” technology, with its new line-up. This came in regards to the companies upscaling technology known as High Quality audio, which is also called as UHQ. Using this technology, any device that emits 8 to 24-bit source, can be changed to 32-bit stream, which Samsung claims is “much closer in quality to the original recording than existing HD audio”.

Another technology that includes Samsungs algorithms is the Distortion Cancelling, by which the system can intelligently forecast the woofers movement, control it and then disperse a more stable sound, at a low pitch.

The Samsung H7 wireless speaker comes sharing a very streamlined design, giving it a very retro look, while talking of music playback, the device comes with a speaker’s wheel that lets you select playlists from streaming services.

The M9500 UHD Blu-ray player on the other hand comes optimised for HDR content and be it HDR, DTS-X or Atmos, the player looks at the source and adjusts the audio and video to offer the best performance. This device also gets the ‘Private Cinema’ viewing mode, which sends audio to Bluetooth headphones instead of the television.

The new MS750 sound bar, according to Samsung brings “subwoofer performance directly into the primary unit”.

The VR7000 robot vacuum by Samsung comes with Alexa support that can also be controlled using Amazon Echo.

Well for detailed specs, pricing and availability, looks like we will have to wait till the CES happens, which is scheduled in Las Vegas.
